Robinhood Plans to Offer Send/Receive Function for Crypto

Robinhood clarified in a Tweet yesterday that they intend to offer a more complete crypto experience by offering send/receive functions for their cryptocurrency customers.

Right now you can buy and sell crypto on Robinhood, but you can’t send and receive, and you generally don’t have direct control over your wallet.

However, Robinhood has now stated they plan to add more functionality to bring Robinhood closer to the true crypto experience more in line with Cash App.

So much interest in Crypto! To be crystal clear 🔍, we fully intend to provide the ability to deposit and withdraw cryptocurrencies, including DOGE. Robinhood Crypto does NOT currently invest in cryptocurrency or use any customer cryptocurrency for our own benefit.
