Bittrex to Reopen Signups and Add USD Trading

Bittrex’s CEO confirmed that after some updates Bittrex will soon reopen signups to new users and allow USD trading.

After the surge in demand for cryptocurrency starting late last year, some of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges had to shut their doors to new users and open waiting lists. Bittrex, one of the most popular crypto-to-crypto exchanges, was one such exchange.

However, this period of demand exceeding seats at the table is looking like it is coming to an end given the recent announcement.

Meanwhile, Bittrex has up until this point not had an option to trade dollars for cryptocurrency. Instead users were limited to the digital dollar of the crypto world Tether (USDT), Bitcoin, or Ethereum.

Soon users will be able to use U.S. dollars on Bittrex making it one of the few exchanges along with Kraken and Coinbase (and soon Robinhood) to allow trading in dollars.
