ETH2 Staking is Coming to Coinbase

Coinbase is going to allow staking on ETH2. This is a big deal, as you’ll be able to lock up your ETH and take it on Coinbase for up to 7.5% APR.

What is even better is that you’ll be able to stake any amount. The really cool thing here is that staking ETH without the help of an app like Coinbase means you need to run a node and stake 32 ETH. For most people that is not an option, so having a helper app like Coinbase is a big deal.
