Visa and PayPal Ramp Up Crypto Adoption

Visa and PayPal have both ramped up crypto adoption this week. Visa is running a USDC pilot program, and PayPal has launched a crypto checkout service.

Visa has launched a pilot program with partner crypto.com to settle USD Coin (USDC) transactions on its payment network. USDC runs on Ethereum.

That means Visa will be integrating one of the top stablecoins and the Ethereum network into its payment system, at least for a pilot program.

Meanwhile, PayPal holdings will start allowing US customers to use their crypto holdings for payment at online merchants, making it easier than ever to pay with crypto.
