All Eyes on ETH
ETH is setting up for a potential breakout. All it needs to do is do what so many other coins (LTC, BTC, BCH, and more) have already done.
Ethereum’s Ether is one of the top cryptocurrencies. The Ethereum network uses a smart-contract system that facilitates the creation of tokens, decentralized applications, and more.
The token native to this network is called “ether.”
This section contains articles on Ether, ERC-20 Tokens, and the Ethereum platform.
FACT: The ethereum network is used to create about 1/2 of all ICOs. This means many coins on the market are Ethereum based.

The Constantinople hard fork is occurring over the next 24 hours. The average person has to do absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, those running their own nodes need to update their software.
Most Ethereum users need to do nothing for the Ethereum Constantinople / St. Petersburg upgrade planned at block number 7,280,000 (predicted to occur Thursday, February 28, 2019). The exact date is subject to change.
Coinbase has confirmed they will support the Constantinople Ethereum (ETH) network upgrade. This planned update requires a hard fork.
When a coin does a hard fork, two identical blockchains exist until changes to one of the chains is made. To avoid transaction replays (transactions made on one chain being broadcast on the other), at least one chain must implement replay protection (developers of one chain must change the format of transactions to make them unique).
Recent reporting is claiming that both Ethereum Nowa (ETN) and Ethereum Classic Vision (ETCV) are scam forks that are stealing people’s ETH. This doesn’t have any bearing on the legit Constantinople fork.
TRX, ADA, BCH, XRP, and LTC have all had impressive runs recently, as did ETH in its own right. Meanwhile BTC is holding its ground.
If we didn’t just have a brutal year long bear market, crypto charts would be looking very hopeful right now. Essentially all major charts are breaking out or primed for a breakout.
There are a few Ethereum forks coming in 2019. These include the long planned Constantinople upgrade, ETH Classic Vision (ETCV), and Ethereum Nowa coming Jan 2019.
