San Francisco Company To Launch First Cryptocurrency Exchange with XRP as Base Currency
DCEX, a San Francisco-based cryptocurrency exchange for retail and institutional investors run by AlphaPoint, will become the first exchange to offer Ripple’s XRP as its base currency.[1]
This is pretty exciting news for XRP fans since the top coin has generally not been offered for trading pairs (unlike other top coins Bitcoin, Ether, and Bitcoin Cash).
Right now registration is open, but trading has not started.
When trading starts clients will be able to trade a total of 15 coin pairs – XRP, Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Ethereum classic (ETC), OmiseGo (OMG), EOS (EOS), DASH (DASH), Tron (TRX), Monero (XMR), VeChain (VEN), IOTA (IOTA), ZCash (ZEC), and stable-coin TrueUSD (TUSD), with plans to add Neo (NEO), Cardano (ADA), and more pairs in the coming months. Additionally, DCEX offers access to all ten coins listed in the Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index (BGCI) in one location.
The exchange generally offers all features you would expect from an exchange including margin trading.
