Coinbase Announces Instant Purchases

Instant Purchases on Coinbase For Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin

It has always been annoying to wait a week for your coins to come in with coinbase. Finally, that is no longer a thing. Coinbase now allows instant purchases.

According to Coinbase:

“Previously, customers who purchased using a bank account had to wait several days before receiving their digital currency. Customers can now buy up to $25,000* and receive access to their digital currency immediately.”

CAVEAT: This doesn’t apply to all users right away, users will get an email letting them know when it applies to them. It used to be that you had to wait days to get your coins (unless you used a credit card and thus paid higher fees). Now, once Coinbase confirms you have instant buys, you’ll be able to buy coins instantly. That is a big deal.
