You may need to adjust the gas price (your fee paid to miners) when sending Ethereum tokens.

As the suggested gas price can be absurdly high with some applications like MetaMask (even taking into account that some tokens need more gas to send).

A good practice is to go to EtherScan.io, find what people are currently paying to send the token you want to send, and then setting the gas price and gas limit to that.

There is no list of suggested gas prices for tokens out there, so this little trick can save you some headaches. As a rule of thumb you want to pay something that is somewhat competitive with the going rate of Ethereum. That rate can be found at ethgasstation.info.
