Cryptocurrencies
What is a Cryptocurrency?
Cryptocurrencies are digital assets that can be used as currency. These assets tend to live on encrypted and decentralized networks, are transferred between peers, and have their transactions confirmed on a public ledger called a blockchain via a process known as mining.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are two examples of cryptocurrencies.
